CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Started his career in the hair and beauty industry at an early age and spent more than 14+ years in perfecting his haircutting techniques and hair coloring skills upon graduating from a European Line Academy school in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

He received most of his training and education from many hair masters, mentors and stylist with high profile clientele and have been fortunate enough to work besides them as well.

As part of a creative industry that is constantly changing and evolving, Johny and his team enjoys investing in learning new techniques and furthering their education.

Johny has always been fascinated with the art of hair and esthetic and is now proudly offering his services here in Fort Smith.

Mr. Vasquez specializes in services ranging from hair color, haircuts, styles and creating a new look to match one’s unique personality.

Hi! My name is Shalyn, but I usually go by Shay. I’m beyond excited to be starting my journey at Vasquez Salon! I’ve lived in the Fort Smith area for most of my life. I attended UCA in Conway, Arkansas where I got my marketing degree. I then chose to move back home and get my cosmetology license. I have always loved hair, makeup, and skincare! From being a little girl and changing my nail color every day during the summer to doing my friends makeup in college. Some of my favorite services to provide are color, waxing, and makeup. I can’t wait to see where my career goes at Vasquez Salon and I would love more than anything to have you in my chair!

Bobbi Martinez is a passionate cosmetologist with 8 years of experience, known for her authentic style and creative, detail-oriented approach. She specializes in threading, vivid color transformations, and long hair perms, taking pride in delivering customized services that enhance each client’s unique look.

Bobbi believes that great hair starts with trust and connection. She takes the time to listen carefully and work thoroughly, ensuring every client leaves her chair feeling confident, refreshed, and truly cared for.

Outside of the salon, Bobbi enjoys spending time outdoors—whether swimming, hiking, or camping—as well as traveling and surrounding herself with animals. Her love for creativity and connection carries into everything she does behind the chair.
